Supplies?

I placed an order with texas knive supply not too long ago. Have yet to receive it, and I paid for 3 day shipping???! Where is another good vendor with quality items such as lovelass style handle fasteners?

I will try texas supply again, but I'll give it 3 weeks, not 3 days.............

Bear in mind that it is Christmas shipping time. I've had several supply orders arriving several days later than normal. It always happens this time of year.

Call 'em and get them to track it if you think it's lost.

Call them on the phone to straighten this out, and it will get it done quickly. Don't try to do it online. They don't seem to do computers very well.

I agree, give them a call if you are concerned. I've used the website and telephone to place orders both without any real problems. I've always had good service from them.

The one time I called them because I was concerned about a late order it arrived the day I called them. In my case I think the delay was at customs as I'm in Canada.

Hope all goes well.

If you do want to try somewhere else I also use Sheffield knife supply in Florida, they have also been quite good. Do a search in google for them.

three day air will get you ahead of the reg orders
but it won't
guarantee it will ship that day.
supply and demand rules it's just the facts.
Alex (at CKD forums ( Atlanta Virtual) is the one that does the web site for them.
call and ask for Lance. he'll fix you up..

I paid for next day air with the Texas folks with my last order over about 3 weeks ago, and waited and waited, emailed and emailed, and called, etc. They are solid folks and I spend a good % of my supply $ with them. They couldn't find my envelope, but they had to have my $ and my email order. It took about 3 weeks! Quick delivery $ went down the toilet! I like doing business with the folks, but NO NO NO on extra quick delivery $ ! I just received an order from Brownell's, and they are REALLY quick!

just a note that may help.
IMHO
The best way to deal with anyone is the way they do business
as a daily routine

with TKS I've found
it's on line with a
C/card with no questions for them to reply to.
adding 3 day air.
or
call them with the order w/numbers and pay by CC. adding 3 day air
I'll get the order in about 5 business days or less. don't count weekends, holidays,
and boneheads between here and there..

if the order is placed and they have to wait for the $$
then it could just get mislaid, it's not the normal way to do business, some
problems are built in that way, if they're not use to doing things that way.
