OK Guys,

I'm an old fart out of the fight but willing to help out a trooper.

Any enlisted trooper (any service) deploying into the kill zone email me for me to donate the Spyderco Military I carried in my checkered past.

Anyone else willing to ante up??

Bruce

Another great idea.

If you got the $$ and trust this fellow, go for it.

I hope he gets lots of input, but I'm cash poor right now and can only donate what I have on hand.

I wish I had the money to donate.....:( I DO HAVE a Gorgeous "used to be" a Tanto CRKT M-16 SRT #1, professionally re-done that is ANYONE"S who is about to ship out. You need a blade, drop me an E-amil and the knife is yours. The Blade is completely re-profiled and some other goodies done to add function. I wish there was more, but .............E-mail me if you need a good knife.....wolf
Edited for a spelling boo boo

Thanks Survivor, I appreciate you bringing my Donation plan up. Donations will only pat for materials. I'll do the work for free.

Anyone feel free to contact anyone that's dealt with me in the past. I've always been fair and honest.

I have been contacted by someone in the 1st Special Forces Group, He's wanting his team to get a batch of knives. I've recently made friends with a cop that's ex-Ranger. He has a couple of friends in Delta that are "away" right now. I'd sure like to send them some too.

The bad news is: I've gotten 2 donations so far. I keep hopeing for more of a responce. If not I'll send thier money back.

I can attest to JungleJim and his very Large, Made in the USA HEART!!!! Dennis, AKA ICC Knives is a staunch supporter of our Armed forces in harms way, as well as our Public safety providing Homeland security. He and many of his counter-parts are making me, the knife collector very proud of their efforts. gentlemen, I salute you.....wolf

Update to the offer to donate...

I don't know about the the others, but I haven't gotten a single request for the donation.

I'm not sure why, unless we simply don't have that many troops getting ready to go anywhere that read this board.

Another possibility was suggested by the show organizer at this past weekends' Chesapeake Knife Show. He has been told that individual troops are not allowed to take knives that are offerred, so another donation offer is going through a Ranger unit front office.

So, are there any First Sgts/Sgt Majors out there who wish to be a go-between?

Bruce
