I am just curious if any of you have been following this thread that Jerry Busse started.

I have followed it some and looks like it is developing as something that might happen.

Maybe Buck Knives would be interested in participating.

It would also help if basic members and registered users upgraded to GOLD for $25. In fact, we should start a drive to get more members to move off of free status and drop a couple to help out.

Yeah, I upgraded to gold a couple months back. I figured a cheap contribution compared to the entertainment, information, and good deals I have gotten out of the forums. The $2.08 a month isn't going to kill me.

Looks like the auction thing is rolling.

Maybe Joe, Jeff, or CJ will jump in with some comments.

Yep, I upgraded a few months ago. Took the money but didn't get the upgraded status. That's ok. I'm glad to be here.

One of the reasons that I upgraded and will support the auction or bids is the fact that Spark does not allow advertising. Go to some of the other forums and they have ads all over. If I want ads I go watch TV...NOT. Preston

I'm a relatively new member but in the short time that I've been visiting this forum the amount of valuable information that I've received and the comradeship that I've witnessed is, as the ad says,......priceless.

I tried, several times actually, to upgrade to gold. But it seems that my credit card is a freak, and the price for non-credit upgrade is more than I'm willing to spend on a forum. Until they get that fixed, I'll remain blue
