Well, in the name of supporting my favorite knife company, as well as adding to my collection, I just 'pulled the trigger' on a BP110 Smooth Bone and a second BP110 CPM 154. The second CPM 154 is so I can have one for a 'user' and one for display, a habit that I have had for some time.

I know that the above are rather small contributions to the cause, but I will be making regular purchases of new Bucks, which should help a bit. (Not to mention adding to my enjoyment.)

Here is hoping that we can all do our part to help 'Weather the storm'.

Both great choices! Every little bit helps! Now I need to decide what I "need" to buy ;)

Well, I just put in a Custom shoppe order for a 110 with S30V, Nickel Silver, KOA Flame Wood, and finger grooves. :)

That Bass Pro Smooth Bone is on my target list for hopefully later this month!

I think that you will love it, Chris. I'll try and get some half decent shots for you.

Ah yes, the perennial question. I have found many creative ways of defining 'need', Jim, none of which will float where my wife is concerned. ;)

That's the spirit, Tom! I am sure that together we can all find a way to drain our accounts for the greater good. That is going to be a great looking knife, by the way.

This is the way I am leaning towards helping with "1 a month" ;) It is July after all. I am just waiting on info about CS BG-42 blades before I place my order. OR maybe I should go with another S30V? It does cut like theres no tomorrow!

That is about the same as here then ;) I "need" another knife though!!! ;)

She'll understand ;) OR she'll say that "I need another knife like I need another hole in my head" :D

You guys got this need thing all wrong, ya see I just ask the Dog if we want another knife and the answer is always yes. I try to give Buck Knives as gifts anytime and occasion I can make it fit and that way the need to get more returns.

If you can't trust the Dog, who can ya trust? :D

That's the spirit fellers,

One a month is all we ask

Post some photo's of those new knives please. I can't ask the dog...don't have one:(. Oh well...have any of you watched the Lord of the Rings movies? When I get a new Buck I sit and look at it and call it "my precious";) Now that would be funny if it wasn't true.

I cant think of any other company that cares as much as Buck does for its customers....and about its product..

I agree 100%. Perhaps that is one of the reasons that I have never regretted a Buck purchase. I love each and every one of them...my precioussss...doh! :D

Stock, APF and JB4570, you guys are just great! My sentiments exactly!!
Over the years I've kept a list of who all I've given Bucks to , the model #'s occasion, ect.. Now, looking back I notice its up to over two dozen. I could have given those persons a gift certificate or dinner out. But then they eat their fill, push them selves away from the table and say "ole Dave's alright" and forget it. But by giving them a Buck, they pull it out of there pocket ten times a day, use it and say "ole Dave's alright". You get enough people saying that around our small town and someones bound to think somebodys GOT to be LYING. Folks, it helps me to laugh alittle bit at my own expense. Even when its true! DM

yep i gots to agree ole dave's alright here too!
that made my eye moist on that they pull the knife out and think of you!

my dad dont like pocket knives ... and not bucks...
he does like the pocket watch i gave him ...
wish he liked knives... but he never did...
called big ones pigstickers...
little slippies was all he ever used...

Many of us here have an affliction for buying multiples of the same.
But I have been back on the wagon for a couple of months now.

Speaking of which, how much was that BG-42 upgrade on your custom, Chris?

Well technically nothing, they asked if they could substitute it for the 154CM I had ordered cause they were out of it. They didn't charge me any difference.
