Sure ZT has a ton of new knives, but is anyone else excited for the new Kershaws?

I give knives out as gifts a lot - and some of those are in the under $40 Street-Price range (Dirty Santa gifts, or gifts for folks that aren't super close to me), so I'm pretty excited about the new budget-friendly knives from Kershaw. The Thermite looks like it's going to be high on my gift-giving list this year (as is the Cryo-II). There seem to be a ton of new knives in the budget-range from Kershaw that seem to scratch that itch of "something different" while still maintaining that sort of "Kershaw feel" to them.

I'm loving the Injection too. It seems to have so much class for a knife that costs so little.

Anyone else excited about some of the new Kershaw cheepies-but-goodies?

I'm very exited, I will be picking up both sizes of injection, the freefall, and shuffle (2X)

They aren't really at the price point that I shop at these days but the Thermite, Injection and Scrambler all look really sweet.

I've got a lot of knives, but I've only got two Kershaws and they're both limited edition Leeks. Would I like to see Kershaw produce knives that give the kind of Benchmades (e.g., Mini-Grip, Sequel) and Spydercos (e.g., Sage series, Southard) I carry a run for their money? You bet I would! Is that going to happen? It looks like it will in the ZT line (e.g., 0770CF). But I'm not sure what the plan is for the Kershaw line.

The Shuffle got my attention earlier in the year from Shot Show, and after playing with it, it's still my favorite Kershaw that was announced.

Injection 3.5 for me but wish it had a better steel. Good thing it will be easy to sharpen, even for me

I'm interested in some of the older US made versions that are popping up lately with awesome handle and steel combos (the Blur in particular).

Was the Scrambler the RJ Martin piece? Whatever it was called, the RJ design looked really nice when it was first announced.

To answer the original poster's question - no - I am not excited about anything recent from Kershaw this year. I'm pretty picky about what knives to own and they have to be unique and affordable.

OKAY - maybe the Swerve - I have to handle it first - but that might be of interest :)

The only knives to meet my criteria are the Kershaw RAM 1910 in all it's variations, the Kershaw Echelon & the Kershaw Cyclone and those are from years past. (The shallot is nice but that is also a design from the past - nothing new from them has captured my fancy).

I grow a little weary of hinderer designs (I know I know many of you all like them, I'm just not into it) - I like the uniqueness of the RAM - where is a new G&G Hawk knife production collaboration? How about more stuff along the lines of the stunning Echelon design? Seems like Jimmer brought that to the table when he signed on - great design there!

Looking forward to 2014's announcements - 2013 has let me down - I do not plan on purchasing any of these new kershaws - just not my style at all. YMMV

So you were the one. :)

Were the sales really that bad for those three? Man - I just can't go along with the beaten path of knives - I like off the beaten path knives and Kershaw has made some nice ones over the years - just not this year (in my own opinion - shoot - that might mean that you all will sell boatloads of the 2013 stuff if what I like doesn't sell!)

I like the Humor Kai Corp - *slinks off to play/flip/utilize my Echelons, RAMS and my full size Cyclone*
