Anyone got one? How well does it work? I am thinking about getting one. I work in attics a lot hunting for phone and cable lines a lot think this might be the ticket anyone tried one out yet?

I've had one for a few weeks now. Verdict? I love it! It's the ultimate EDC light for me. You have the option of LEDs in a flood pattern or a high intensity beam that Surefire is best known for. The dual level lighting option will also help to eek out as long a life out of a pair of 123A lithium batteries because in some applications where one would use the incandescent bulb [e.g. SF E2e, C2, etc], you can use the LEDs. Most of the time I am using the LEDs, and kicking in the incandescent lamp only when I need a more intense light. And LEDs don't drain batteries as fast as incandescent lamps do. Size-wise, it is a bit longer than a E2/E2e light but it is just as easy to carry.

I think the A2 would be a great lighting companion for what you need in your line of work. Just try to get your employer to provide you with plenty of 123A's :D

Great light. I EDC in rotation an ARC LSHP and the A2. It's very useful and the 3 leds are the whitest I've seen.

I've put 25+ sets of SF123A batteries through my A2 - I carry it with me and use it everyday. It is the most useful illumination tool that SureFire have released yet in my experience.

Please email me if you would like me to email you some photos.

I've been looking at this light as well--I'm glad to see that it seems to live up to the hype (although the wallet's not that happy about it).
