Hey everyone,
Just was wondering if anyone has been to the Dixie Gun and Knife Show in Raleigh, NC and has seen this knife. Its a great show but sometimes the rare guns/knives aren't displayed. Thanks

I don't much care for ANY of the Sure Fire knives! They are ugly and way overpriced! For what they charge for their knives, you could get yourself a Custom knife, a really nice graphic Sebenza, or a Strider for that matter.

I have to go with the knife collector on this one. The just seem way overpriced to me.

Does Surefire actaully make them? or are they made for them by somebody else?

Don't know about the Alpha, but I really like the look of the Delta. I agree that their knives appear to be way overpriced. They tried to establish themselves as high-end knives and nobody bought into it. Chris Reeve's Sebenza's have the same blade steel and are less technologically advanced, yet plenty of people agree that they were worth the money; so I don't really see how it's that outrageous that they thought that they cold work their way into that market. In either case, I still think it's grossly overpriced.

Overpriced - Absolutely. Ugly - Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the Surefire Alpha is certainly no uglier (imho) than a plain Sebenza or your basic Strider.

I got an aftermarket Alpha for way less than retail. Not ugly at all when you don't pay too much for it. :)

I think a large part of the price was that it's hard to get Ryan knives otherwise.

Great blade.

i agree with esav benyamin, not an ugly knife at all! i don't think it's for everyone. and no i didn't pay for price for it.:)

I've no opinion on the Alpha, but the Delta intrigues me. Except the price of course.
