Hey guys,
Can you buy batteries for your Surefire flashlights from Walmart
or Kmart??? Something like Duracells or do you have to
order them online?? Think I'm gonna get a E2.
Thanks,
Chip

You CAN buy Duracells and probably Panasonic and Sanyo 123A's at Walmart or Kmart most likely, but you'll be paying quite a bit more- probably in the order of $5-6 EACH. If you buy them online (various vendors and/or ebay), you can get them considerably cheaper, but usually in bulk. A lot will depend on how often you plan to use the light and kill off a set of batteries.

When i bought my E1 i got some (12) Surefire batteries. They seem to last a long time. And they claim a long shelf life.

The best deal going is the Surefire Hurricane light with 12 batteries enclosed......you can get them from the reps for 35$... I think they are on the surefire site for a little more.....look around, I see them for sale all over. and yes, they have a 10 yr shelf life.

The best deal I've gotten was from Botach (yeah, they have their problems) 24 for about $40. They were energizers & work fine (my camera uses the same batteries, so that is a plus). Find myself using my Scorpion more than the 6Z, though.

Tim is too modest to tell you, but he sells batteries as well as other flashlights, knives, and other assorted gear. Drop him a line at his email address and I am sure he has or can get whatever you want. His service is second to none; you will not be disappointed.

I have tried out all the brands I can get my hands on.

SureFire SF123A batteries are the best. I've now tested side-by-side, SF123As and DL123A Ultras, using P60, P61, N2 and MN16 Lamps.

SF123As give you a brighter whiter output for longer.

Try them for yourself.

If you find a brand that beats them, I'll try 'em out cos I get through hundreds!
