I was looking into buying one of their flashlights, when I saw this knife. It has a lot of the things I love in a knife (deep finger choil, thumb hole, handle material, etc.), and is made of some great materials. I was wondering if anybody has any experience or knowledge about them, because I'm thinking of saving up to buy one.

From Surefire official site:

"from tungsten carbide-coated Crucible CPMS30V steel blades, 7075 T6 aluminum frames, and G10 fiberglass inserts to our obsessive focus on proper ergonomics, precise manufacturing tolerances, and hand finishing."

Blade Length: 4.5"
Length Closed: 5.875"
Length Open: 6.5"/11.5"
Weight: 6.5 oz.

PRICE: $ 365.00

It's a pretty cool knife, as long as you realize that the pic shows it in the fully open position. It's supposed to be almost like a folding push dagger. I prefer the Alpha myself.

looked at a BM 806, Buck Strider Tarani, or Spyderco Yojimbo?

I don't care for the Buck Strider, but I've been staring at several Spydercos for a while now. Mainly the Manix, Lil Temperance (though it lacks the kind of choil I like), and mainly the Stretch. I think I've decided on the Stretch as my next big knife purchase.

The walnut handled versions of those are gorgeous. I just don't care for liner locks.

I personally REALLY like the Alpha!! It is on MY list of must haves for me.
