Let me start off by saying that before this model I HATED Surefire knives. I thought they were all hype/marketing. I am a fan of their lights and cans, but have always blown off their knives. Most of them have funky "extra" features that to me are useless and a waste. Their price is WAY up there too.
I was at my local gun store and saw the Charlie. I figured it would disappoint me like the rest, but I was wrong. I was very surprised how simple it was. It was just a knife, no extras. It was very ergonomic and I really liked the "flip" feature. The blade shape was nice too. It weighed almost nothing due to the titanium/aluminum frame. All in all I was impressed. I would easily say for me it is the best knife Surefire has put out. At $295 I did not buy it. But am giving it some serious thought.
Anyone have one of these with some mileage on it that would like to chime in?
What is the general thought on Surefire knives? Good, bad?
Thx
