Hey all,

Recently I purchased a Surefire Delta Folder EW-04 and I love this knife a lot. I was thinking today that the only thing that could make it better for me would be a serrated blade. Is there anyone that can add serrations? Would it void the warranty? What would the cost of something like this be?

Also, I thought S30V steel was the way to go but it's been impossible for me to get it sharp (mini rukus owner as well). I use a Spyderco Sharp Maker. Any tips on getting the S30V sharp?

Thanks.

I've put my own serrations on blades with a chainsaw file.

This Buck 112 is one example.

A good diamond stone will get it sharp. I have a Strider PT that I couldn't get sharp until I bought a new diamond stone.

thanks for the suggestion but I don't think I'll be trying that.

Any other suggestions? Anyone do this professionally?

Why is this knife so expensive? Their lights aren't that much more expensive than competitors considering the quality.
