Wow. I just got in my order of 50 of these little suckers- what an incredibly neat light. Makes the 3P look HUGE. It's the same length as the Vero Beach/MT original UDT (closed). Nice work SF!

What type of battery does it use? Can you ppoost a pic or a link to a pic?

It takes one DL123A (Lithium 123A) battery with a 90 minute runtime at 15 lumens (approximately the same output as a 2D Maglite).

Here's a pic of one in the package:

Turns out I found another cache of 50 colored (Super-rare!) E1's- will have them next week. Email for details.

Here's some other pictures I just took comparing the E1 to other SF's etc.

Coloured E1's?!

That sounds great!

I can't wait for more details and more photos!

I hope I get my E1 from Botach soon!

In January, I'll be getting two more E1's (or three if Botach haven't put one in my order this time round)

Thanks for the photos.

Alastair

Drop me an email for pricing and other details. Only one color at the moment and very few of them (one limited run of 100 lights total). No lanyard ring for the E1 at present.

How much is Botach selling them for?

Are they they same diameter as a 6P?
It looks like a 3P, how is it different?

The E1 is somewhat thinner. The barrel of the 3/6/9P is 1" dia. while the head is 1.245" dia. The E1 has a taper from the endcap of .7784" dia. to .9509" immediately before the head. The taper forces you to load the battery from the lamp end as the DL123 won't even fit from the tailcap side. The head diameter is .99092" dia. (call it one inch). Thus the head is the same diameter as the body of the P series. The head is 1.1" long and the overall length including the button is 3.24575". It's about .25" shorter than the 3P. TINY light. Fits right at home in the watch pocket of jeans.

No E1 for Alastair!

No M2, M3, Z41, 12Bs, N62, MN11, P61...
No more flashlights until January!

No more shining 12PM until January!

No more Life until January...

I'm gonna be in a dark black mood all winter.
Nothing to light up my life

The order in my previous posts was cancelled by Botach, but I had to ring them to find that out.
After finally placing my order with Botach by phoning them from England, I've had to cancel my order cos I urgently need the money for an emergency.
For some reason, my VISA card blocked the order even though I had $1500 of credit

(!?)
So that was a blessing in disguise!
(Act of God for knowing that I was going to need the $590 for an emergency?!)

So I'm really gutted and will have to dream about SureFires 'cos I can't even shine my 12PM as batteries are five times as expensive in England and I can't afford them

Sh*t happens I suppose, but will life go on?
