As some of you may have read in my earlier thread, I had been thinking about buying my first Surefire. Today, at a local gun show, I did just that, and bought the E2e-HA. :)

This Surefire is unbelievable!! I wasn't expecting for so much light to come out of such a small flashlight. My only concern was getting a belt sheath for it, for the convenience and not having to worry about it falling out of my back pocket. Luckily, I found a dual mag nylon pouch, w/velcro straps, that could hold my new E2e and SOG TiNi Powerlock. :D :D

I sure hope that I don't develop a habit with Surefires, as I have with knives.

Yes, it's awesome. I brought mine to a concert in a stadium. With all the lights out, it lit up the other side of the place easy. Everyone (thousands of people) was looking to see what the hell was shining so brightly.

Who needs a lighter?!

Now get a GG&G TID for it!
Need more info on this please. Is this an accessory, sheath, etc.?

Unfortunately, I would have to say that I agree with you. I've already started thinking about one for each of our two vehicles, a couple for the house, and......:D ;) :D.

The only thing that I don't understand is WHY did it take so long for me to get one?
**slapping myself upside the head**

Maybe because I can sometimes be a cheap bastid.

Look here

It makes your E2e double as an impact weapon! It doesn't look like much, but is mean in person! I carry my E2e-HA with the TID (Tactical Impact Device) inside a SPEC-OPS single carry pouch.

That is S-W-E-E-T!!!! I am just going to have to get one of those little gadgets.
The TID could come in very handy.  :D :)

It mentions that it uses 4 set screws for placement, have you had any problems with them coming loose at all?

Nope, not one bit! They are tiny recessed hex screws, one every 90 degrees. They keep the TID on very well!

Thanks. ;)

From what I hear, though, TAD has the TIDs on backorder. :(

1sks had some in when I ordered mine...to bad most everything else I wanted was backordered...heh

Any experience with the KL1 replacement assembly?

I've just found out about this LED lamp replacement assembly and I'd really be interested in getting one...not that I'm not satisfied with the present lamp. I just tend to prefer the LED. :D

As far as the TID, I guess that I'll just have to check around the 'net for it.

The KL1 is pretty darn awesome.
Nowhere near as bright as the stock bulb but one of the brightest LED lights around. Its a perfect task light when you don't need to blow things away with brightness.
The only competition is the Arc LS which varies widely in brightness and beam color while every KL1 I've seen has been a nice consistently bright blue/white.
It's a nice battery recycler too. The batteries that will no longer light the stock bulb to full brightness will still give hours of light from the KL1.
The KL1 will add a little length so if your current sheath is a bit tight then the KL1 might not fit.

I sure would like to support 1SKS by purchasing an E2E from them, unfortunately, they don't seem to stock them.

**** this sucks! I was okay with my LX but now I have new cravings. Damn...aaaah well it's only money:rolleyes:
