Anyone have anything to say about these? I have been eying a friends and and really want one but can't afford it right now. It is made by Surefire or someone else? I really like the design and it is the perfect size for work without scaring the sheeple. Here is the link if anyone is interested. And sorry in advance if this has been covered once before I couldn't find anything when I looked but I don't have search capabilities.

Welcome to BF. Be patient, if anyone has any experience with Surefire knives, they'll eventually post a reply.

i had an alpha and liked it a lot, might get another if i ever find a deal, i dont care for the look of the others in the line, but am sure they are perfectly seviceable, i just dont care for the looks and dont care for other options on folders like wrenches/etc, i carry a SAK/leatherman for all that. but the SF knives i have seen have all had top notch F&F, good materials, if thats what ya like and ya dont mind paying what is imho a little high of a price for what ya get go for it.

but if it was me, for the $$, i can think of a lotta other stuff.

I have one and really like it. The fit and finish is right up there with Reeve and others. Mine was kinda used when I bought it and I sent into Surefire and they made it look brand new at no cost to me. So warranty up there with Strider. Sharp, light weight, ti, and a few tools to boot. Great knife and congrats!

Jeff (of RAT Cutlery) has played around with one for a while. You might ask him, as he seemed rather impressed by it. :)

I'd opt for 5 Buck Vantage Pros and 5 multi-tools for the same money. Same S30V steel.

they refinished it for free for ya?

For the money I'd go Strider or CRK. I'm not saying their bad, but Surefire isn't a knife company. I imagine they are made 3rd party though.

They're a bit too busy with the wrench in handles and screwdriver and glass breaker, but the clip is kinda cool.

Not his blog, but rather his subforum here. Just pop on over under the Manufactures forums, then click on RAT Cutlery. Jeff goes by the screen-name "RAT" on the boards here. :)
