...or maybe more like Lays, can't have just one! LOL!

I started running out of places to put my lights, so I got a Pelican Case for them!

My g/f has my E2e and my KL1/FB1 combo. I think I've got pocket flashlights covered pretty well. :D

Time for a 10X!

Elegantly organized!

What you need now is a Pelican 1020 like the one I got with pre-cut holes for 24 Surefire 123s. Only I can't remember who I bought it from ... :( I thought it was TADGear or Botach, but neither has it on their website now.

Someone had suggested the same thing, and mentioned BatteryStation. I emailed them a few hours ago to see if they pre-cut the holes.

Get the package deal they have with the Pelican 1010 and 15 123As. Holes precut and shipped with batteries in place. Definitely recommend.

Sure is.

The knob works really well. It is very tight, but I know that is intentional. It was "looser" on the prototype I saw. I told them they should change the pocket clip too, but obviously they didn't listen! LOL! Actually, the clip has grown on me.

The only grip I have is that it is very hard to use the knob one handed in the standard Surefire grip (to use the tailcap with your thumb). In order to change levels with one hand, I have to turn on the light and then hold it like you would a Mag.

For the U2, how bright is each of its 6 levels? the only figures i've read are 2 lumens at 1 and 100 lumens at 6. what about in between?

How about this:
Level 1: Most high-end pocket LED lights
Level 2: Around my E1e
Level 3: About half a P60 or E2e
Level 4: A short ways less than my A2
Level 5: Just shy of a P60
Level 6: Just shy of a P61

Oh BTW,they are very nice lights.I have become a headlamp fan, keeps my hands free.Favorite light now is a Petzl Myo 5.Not high end like the surefires though.

Why so many?Do you ever use them,or are you just a collector? They all look brand new.
The 6Ps I just got, so they are new, but the L4, A2, and U2 get carried a lot!

I had an E2e that I carried a lot too.

thanks for the info. do you find yourself changing the brightness often or is it more of a gimmick?

Jumpin jimini Size 15s and you too Mr. Roos,we really need to talk.Could you please tell what you say to the wife about having close to a K in lights?LMAO But seriously could you please put a "Lumen" into perspective?I have several hand lights,3 mini-mags, 1 (3 cell rechargeable mag light)which is pretty handy and I might add rather bright. Also a couple petzl headlamps and a nitelite belt lite w/halogen head (lasts forever but HEAVY). Boy, now that I write that down I have to ask myself ,"why so many" :-). Could you please compare the brightness level of your Surefires to my Mag Rechargeable? Thanks a lot for your time.

I change brightness plenty. The low output modes are good for most situations, and the high output is there when you need it.

It is true I have several SureFires (this is an out of date photo of the ones I have). However, quite a few of them are samples.

I believe 65 Lumens is about what a 4D or 5D Maglite produces on fresh batteries. However, the light from a SureFire will be whiter and significantly more pure and this will be maintained for longer over the course of the runtime due to the use of more powerful Lithium SF123A batteries. It's a whole different quality of light.

Now all you need is a pair of handcuffs to attach yourself to the case and you're all set! :D

My friend just got a Pelican case for his digital SLR camera, and he suggested the same thing! Imagine going through the airport with the case of flashlights handcuffed to your wrist! LOL!
