anyone have a surefire knive? are they good knives? Are they making knives by themself? who is making their knives? I'm especially interested in the Brabo. Please tell me.

Steve Ryan is in charge of the Surefire Edged Weapons division. He designs teh knives and oversees their manufacture, doing a lot of hand fitting in the process.

the F&F on all the SF knives i have seen is top notch, imho they are a little overpriced for what ya get. for that kinda dollar i would prefer a strider myself.

of all the knives they make the only one i care for is the alpha.

Well their designs are very unorthodox, i like the alpha but for 3 bills you can get better stuff than and specially if you consider is a tip down carry. Bravo is okay. But the Delta is too weird reminds me that kershaw camping knife. You probably can do better when you are already stepping on the high end of production knives. As someone mentioned Strider, RJ Martin are better alternatives.

I have a Delta
Great Knife I just bought BUT I am going to sell it.
I am a small guy and just too big for me to use for in the pocket EDC.
GREAT for a guy in the field.

is the delta the one with the skeletonized handle? that worries me on a folder. i can picture slicing my finger tips of when closing it.

I haven't actaully handled one, but if they take as much care in making thier knives as they do their flashlights I am sure they are top notch.

That said, I still think they are overpriced.
