The light to see it in person is impressive, it really is functional art. The body is just like a U2, no it cant hold 18650's, but I havent tried my other U2 body yet.... The led selector ring is detented, in other words it clicks when you twist it. I have a type A. So 1 click to the left is green, the center is low white (Main led), and 1 click to the right is red.

The tail cap is interesting, it is a prototype 2 stage clicky. Think of a regular SF clicky, you press you get low (Or led ring red/green), press harder you get high beam, press all the way it clicks on and stays on high when screwed all the way down. When clicked in the on position, you can untwist the tailcap until the low (led ring stays on). In other words you can leave the clicky engaged and use it as a twisty, or just use it as a clicky! I hope this makes sense.

Now there is 2 different versions of types A,B, and C. 5K and 8K.
this refers to the tint of the main led in the for of the Kelvin scale.

So you can see 8K is more of a cool (WO/Yo) tint while 5K is more warm pure white. I have a 5K and the tint is identical to my UV1J Ti PD. I love the tint of this puppy!

Just how bright is it. Well I have never been a fan of optics, till now. This thing throws a big hotspot. I will try to get outdoor beam shots tonight, if my fiancee allows :evil6:
