Surefire lockout tailcap

I have made halfhearted attempts in the past to obtain Surefire lockout tailcaps for my G3 and Outdoorsman. I either balked at the price, or it just wasn't a priority. The spring bent in my G3 tailcap, and finally came out, so it is kind of a priority now . I have looked on Surefires site, and again, balked at the price. My local dealer does not have lockout tailcaps, and doesn't think they will get any in in the near future. I have taken a look at some companies on line. Any options? I contacted Surefire about a regular replacement tailcap, but have not gotten a response yet.

Just call SF, and they'll send you a new one.

It's actually marked as E2L, but says Outdoorsman on the handle. I got it second hand, so it might've been altered.

OwenM, I just got off the phone with them, they took care of me.

I contacted Surefire about a regular replacement tailcap, but have not gotten a response yet.

Ring Surefire and they will usually sort it out quite quickly for you, probably by supplying a new tailcap. Do not email them as emails are not always picked up.

Yep.... Sf is really good about takin care of ya.
They have replaced two tailcaps no questions asked.
If you spend a little time on Candlepower Forum there are usually always good buys on SF parts too.
