For those that have always wanted a SureFire light but never actually got around to it, you might want to get a move on. SureFire has just discontinued a bunch of their products, including the venerable 6P line.

Ahh, so thats what they're doing! Makes sense, I just saw lapg has C2s priced at $60, heck of a low price!

That's odd. I read a while back about them raising their prices, never thought they would cut so many models though.

There's a reason they're discontinuing them. Incan's suck. :D Heck I'll put my money where my mouth is and give my Z2 combat light up for the price of shipping. It's a paper weight to me. Any takers?

Incan's are terrible.

I'll take that deal!

Damn, I paid full price for my C3. I'm tempted to pick up another light now, but the C3 does everything I could ask it to. Are there other sites that have put these lights on clearance, too?

Oh, and thirds on Shotgun's deal lol.

Good riddance to all that terrible incandescent garbage :barf:

I'm hoping for some ridiculous new tech or specs or something to come after this clearing house :)

I put a new 6P in the for sale gadget section.... I gots me a shiney new UB3T on the way! Can you say "Are you nuts, $695 for a flashlight"?????? Hmmmm

Don't forget that there are LOTS of good LED upgrades available for the 6P size lamp assemblies. You can breath new life into those old incans. Hang out on CandlePowerForums to see what's out there.

Jeff

I believe surefire is just wanting to head into a new direction and focusing on more powerful led flashlights that consume less power and produce more light.

I just picked up a 6P variant for $75 instead of the more common $115. Maybe this is why. I should take a look at that link and see if anything else entices me...
