I picked up both versions of Surefire's pens a while back and I thought I'd share some pics of them for comparison. I know when I was shopping for them, I didn't see anything that really gave a good feel for the size. There are lots of subjective reviews and opinions out there on them, so I won't delve into that much. Suffice it to say that they both feel nice in the hand, and Surefire's quality is immediately apparent. When I need a pen at work, I'm usually wearing thick gloves and writing on a dirty notepad. The ink cartridge in these is the only one I've found other than the Space Pen that will write on damp, dirty paper. FWIW, I prefer the twist model over the click for normal writing duty, but I like the click more for when I'm in the field. I find that the diameter makes it easier to hang on to with gloves.

Here they are compared to each other, an iPhone, and a regular Sebbie. I even hired an attractive (and expensive) hand model for some "action" shots. :D :D

I have both and they are both great. I like the twisty for the extra weight when writing thru several carbons.

I've got the twist, the first version, and it's my regular desk pen.
I'm tempted to get the click for carrying around.
