hi - i burned a hole in the lens of my Z3 sunday nite, what should i do?

replace w/a std bezel, get a turbo head, just replace lens (can ya??)

anyone got a spare bezel for a Z3 laying around they wanna get rid off?

Email Surefire and send it back. I performed meltdown on a Millenium M6 once and they just replaced it and sent it on back. Blackhawk just sort of snickered when I mentioned the damage to the nylon carrier and I didn't bother asking TAD about the hole in my explorer shell.

Dang, why don't those babies have a lock out tail cap?

You can also buy a new lens kit from several dealers. Try LPS tactical ( www.lpstactical.com ) for good prices-the lens kit is about $3. It seems the lexan lens aren't very durable and can't take the heat or scratches too well.

Yes, I also found out the hard way.

I believe the Lens replacement kit for these type of 1" diameter SureFire Bezels is the Z17.
If your Z3 Bezel looks like the ones in this Z Series Photo Gallery:

The M6 does have a LockOut TailCap (LOTC), and AFAIK, always has.
The latest versions of the M6 have body & TailCap idents allowing better use of the LockOut Feature.
The Millennium Series have not been produced with Lexan lenses for sometime now. Pyrex is used in the Millennium TurboHead and the Z44 & Z46 (M2 & M3) Bezels.

Now that I have a Pyrex lens version of the 10X, I don't have to worry about damaging [the old Lexan version]

Pyrex in SureFire's Bezels is very difficult to break - you're going to have damaged the Lexan version before you break the Pyrex version...
Pyrex is a fantastic improvement.

I have had above and beyond great service from Surefire. Good folks.

Isn't it a strange coincidence that companies which make a high-quality product usually also have great customer service?

I love a bargain, but IMHO it's always worth a few bucks extra to me to buy my stuff from a company like that.
