surefire titan question

First off, does anyone actually own one of these lights?

I'm just looking for soe feedback because LaPolicegear is having a preorder of the new less expensive version of this light and I'm debating on ordering one.

and SF is finally releasing a headlamp!!!! I've been telling them for years that they need to make a headlamp!

I think they should make a 1 cell nitrolon light too.

so anyone with a Titan, yea or nay?

Several folks at candlepowerforums have the titanium flavor that came out earlier. It was way too spendy for my blood. But you might do a search there if you don't get any response here.

It got mostly good remarks, although some people found the threads on the light gritty. It's a good light despite that one quirk. I would imagine the aluminum version would be quite good.
