Well I just picked one up for my Z2 for work. Anyway I've been reading that this is not a great holster, marks your bezel and the spring breaks?
Anyone able to confirm that? Thanks

I got the V70 for my Z2 about 4 years ago.

Bezel-up, drawing the Z2 makes the most nerve-grating noise (think nails on chalkboard).
Bezel-down is better: faster draw, and discreet enough under a coat or untucked tshirt. The bezel does get scratched, but after 3 years of EDC it's only missing a few flecks of black.

Never had any problems with the spring breaking, but I found the hard belt loop cracked apart a few months back. I still haven't figured out how it cracked during routine long-term storage . I'm planning on buying a replacement V70 the next time I'm at the surplus store.

It scratches the crap out of your lights. Pretty secure though, unless you're inverted. Bezel down, it's like drawing an ASP baton, but if you bump it a certain way, it may pop out.

will it work with the shock bezel added? Just curious. I'm the kind of guy that busts the crap out of plastic cell phone holders, cuff cases, plastic anything. One reason I wont own a glock. (Well that and I saw my buddies glock after his K9 chewed half the handle and magazine...) I'm sure they are fine guns, dont flame me. :)

as long as it does not affect the diameter of the bezel, it should fit.

carrying it bezel down leaves most of the holster empty, thus you have most of the light sticking up, and an empty holster underneath. i always thought this an odd carry method, considering it increases its overall size.

blade tech, iirc, makes a kydex holster that accepts the light bezel down with a retention screw for adjusting.
