A friend and I just purchased the top half of the 2 wheel grinder to mount on our surface grinders from Knut a month ago.

BTW, my 2 wheel grinder from Knut is still going strong after 4 years now.

You must have got a good one Dennis. i could'nt be more dissapointed with mine. bearings were friend in a matter
of week's, knut has been of no help. save up for a better machine or build your own.
 
thanks for the info, I am still shopping around and may have a lead on custom grinder that is going to be manufactured and sold by a local knifemaker hopefully in the near future
 
I have checked out the Bee , would love one but a bit more $$ than I have to spend, thanks for the input Frank _ you make some outstanding knives

I bought a 2 wheel grinder from Knut a few months ago and I had a really good service. The machine is very well built but I didn't get a chance to try it yet. I was looking for a used motor and just found one yesterday.
