I just purchased a new Rikon 50-161VS 1 x 30 inch belt sander and have been having an issue getting a surface conditioning belts to run on it. I have tried stretching. soaking and leaving on overnight with minimal luck. If I do get it to turn with a little help is is not very fast. I had some old surface belts years ago that were a lot thinner and more flexible that the ones I received from supplier.
I also tried them on an old Dremel Belt Sander with about the same amount of luck.
So any suggests would be helpful. Thanks
