Hi Guys, and Happy New Year!

Friday I'm going to look at a Boyer-Shultz 612 surface grinder. It looks in excellent shape and has seen little use in the last ten years. It is owned by a company that makes soap manufacturing machines and was bought for a special project. Does any one know what I should look for in the areas of excessive wear and tear.

$1000.00 with roll around cabinet and chuck.

Thanks

That's not a bad price little on the high end. Mostly there around 850 and make sure it's not 3 phase power unless you have that or vfd and just make sure the ways are in good shape and the magnetic bed still works .that's about it , good luck.

Thanks Jason,

Every thing else in this area is more money. Anything cheaper is to far away to see and would have to pay for shipping. This is 45 minutes away. Bringing a blade with me to see how it performs.
