Hi All, I have the opportunity to get the EW-04 online for a decent price. I've been looking for some specs on this model and most sites including the Surefire site have the specs, but no info on the blade thickness. I'm an LEO have a some durable knives and just wanted to give this a try. I need a knife with a thicker blade for the work I do.

Can any of you experts here help me out and tell me if the blade thickness on this knife is 3mm or 4mm... maybe some comparison photos??? Thank You All In Advance, Take Good Care, and Be Safe Always.

Rook, I just took some pics for you. A comparison with my Spyderco Gayle Bradley. I'll get them loaded up and posted for you tonight

As measured from my Surefire EW-04 it is 3mm.

OK I got the pics uploaded. I've been packing my EW-04 for over a year now. It's smooth and solid with perfect lockup, and a good pocket clip.

First up is the beauty shot :D

Next up is the thickness you requested. My EW-04 came in at a hair under 3mm

The GB came in almost identical

One, and the only complaint I have, and it's a small one, is the externally visible stop pin in the blade collects lint and can keep the blade from locking up securely (and the only part of the knife I didn't take a pic of apparently :p). But I've only had to clean it twice in the time I've used it, and I work in a fairly dirty environment (welding and fabricating). Let me know if you'd like any other pics.
