An old friend of mine (non-knifenut) comes home from school for the semester, and after about ten minutes of him being at my place he says "hey check out my new pocket knife". He places said knife in my hand, my first thought, "hey this thing is pretty small". After I looked at it for a few moments I realized "holy cr*p this is a mnandi! " I was shocked. I was even more shocked to learn how much he paid for it, I'll spare you guys the pain of that number, but let's just say it was seriously seriously low. He didn't even know who made it. "who's chris reeve?" Jealousy is overwhelming me at the moment. Oh well, maybe I can pick up a sebenza for a similar price soon. Love that desert ironwood by the way, very nice.

Mnandi, hum....I'm always looking for a good deal on one. So, where did your friend purchase this Mnandi??? Come on you can tell us, it will be OK. Come on give....come one......come on.......OH FOR GOD SAKE, TELL US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oops, sorry I get a little carried away some time. :o  :D ;)

I'd be interested in hearing more about how he came into possession of this Mnandi as well! Not because I want to buy another, but because I can't imagine how your friend could pay what must have seemed like a lot of money (even at a significant discount over retail), and not know what he is getting.

Details, please!

Oh hey, trane fan.... :D ;) :p

Some people are just plain cruel. :( :( :( And to think you live in the State where I was born. :p :D ;)

alright alright, you don't have to twist my arm. I'll just quote him directly to make things easier. "yeah my dad bought a couple of them for like xx bucks each, from the guy who owns the company or something at a wine show by our house in (central california coastal area)"

thats the twist; he didn't specify which. I'm gonna kick it out of him though, I want a double digit priced mnandi damnit.
