What is the length? Also, is Dharan the region it is from or the kami's name? Thank's!

I defer to any and all serious buyers!

However long or short this blade,
I am not short of Nepalese steel.

Older?! Looks like pre-U.B. to me. That would make is a very serious piece for someone's collection.

I am a complete neophyte when it comes to these blades. So in that case I'll take this one. It seems like an excellent choice for a first. Email heading in bawanna.

It is in fact 17.5 inches.

dharan is in fact the region it comes from, not the kami.

It's sold and warranted by HI. No worries.

I received my first Khukuri today. My only question is to myself, why did I wait so long? The Fit and finish exceeded my expectations. The thickness and heft did too. I'm quite astonished that these blades can be had at this price. The ricasso width is .463". Yea, it should make a decent chopper.

Watching videos and reading up on the history of the Samis has given me a new found respect. Thanks to Himalayan Imports and this forum for widening my horizons.

Welcome to the party! They are amazing blades. I am sure this is your first of many.

After you use it you will change "decent chopper" to "what is this thing, a laser?"
