Wow, an opening price of $165 AND Mid January?? Thats great news all around :)

I hate finding out about cool knives months before they come out. I would rather not even hear about it till its shipping to the dealers, but mid January is much better than what I read eariler. Anyone know if Benchmades timeframes are like Microtechs?? :D Meaning Mid January= Late October
 
Nice. One question that brings up though. He has it listed under the LE section. I was under the impression this was going to be a normal production piece. Which is it? I may have to start saving a little sooner than I thought if it's going to be LE.

That's a big honkin' knife, OAL of 9.7" and 4.3" blade length, though. :eek: :) And they're claiming that it's "a Medium version." :p ;) :D

I think they're saying the production knife is a medium version of the Blackwood Skirmish model.
Im sure benchmade won't make one larger.

I really like blackwoods,but this is more my budget. Whats with the colored holes/pins? Is that the way it will ship,or just lighting effects for the picture??
 
The colored holes are anodized decor I imagine. It will ship that way.

I don't like a couple things. I don't like the skelotinzed spine and I hate beadblasting. If it was a satin finish with a covered back (and maybe that cool cut out space like on the Griptilian) I'd go for it.

I'd also like an AXIS, but just my $.02 :D
 
I'm with needle...not my style at all...In fact I only like the blade shape, but not the size. Oh well :D
 
I just wish she had a little sister. That seems like waaay to much steel for my EDC. I think it is gourgeous by the way.
