An old friend hitched through town a week ago on his way to South America. He's a traveller and adventure blogger called Alaskan Dude. Because of limited space he needed an all around bush knife that was meant to be abused. I decided to walk him through the process and make him a knife. Since we only had an hour or two a day to work on it we sacrificed a bit on the finish. She ain't pretty but she'll do the work. Please let me know what you all think.
Made from an old leaf spring, edge quenched and triple normalized...the sheath is homebrew black denim micarta. Logo etched with a 12v battery charger and filled with high temp enamel. Forced patina with hydrochloric acid. Test cut several aluminum cans and 2x4s. No chips, dents or rolls.

Thanks for taking a look, feedback is appreciated.
