Okay now I know this may not be everyones view of a survival knife so please give me some leeway on the title. This one is going to a guy in Asia soon. He asked for a modified version of my Hunter style and also to have a pommel.

Specs:
Steel: 3/16 S30V
Blade Length: 4 1/2" from tip to plunge line (5" to start of scales)
Overall Length: 9 1/2"
Handle: Green & Black G10
Pins: 416SS

This is a small but beefy knife that I think will serve him well.

Thanks for looking,
Sean

Is the one you have :D

Sorry couldn't resist, but that looks like a great blade that will most defiantely serve the owner well.

Great job ! ! !

Have you ever made a bad blade?

You're posts are boring and predictable. But only because the knives are so damn good! I'm going to have to save my pennies and order something from you so everyone will say what a great knife I have. ;)

As always terrific work. Attractive and useful looking knife design. ...Again. :D

Very Nice! You make very clean flawless looking knives. You have considerable talent.

Okay, where is the hollow handle? How can it be a survival knife without a hollow handle? :p

Another great looking knife, Sean. :)

Keith - Ha ha ha! When you say the magic words the handle pops off and turns into a cell phone to call home!

Physics - Holy cow have I made some bad knives in the past. My first knife is so ugly no one will ever see it! We call it the Neanderthal.

Yes the filing on the pommel was done with a checkering file. They are really useful for getting evenly spaced filing. For what he was looking for this worked really well. Just filed both sides and then the end of the pommel.

For me.... It's gonna be difficult to survive... without that one !!!!!!
Truly a beautiful work.
