Survival knife?

Dickssportinggoods.com has the Kershaw Chive listed as a survival knife! What? Yeah, I'm going to go off into the woods with nothing but my massive two inch Assisted Opener. My question is, who do they have managing their website?

Good thing I don't rely on Dicks Sporting Goods for survival advice? Any knife is worth something in the woods.

If that's all you take with you into the woods you're probably a prime candidate for a Darwin Awadr.

Well sure, but a Kershaw Chive is still far from being a survival knife.

If you're in a situation that you need to "survive" then it becomes your survival knife.
You'll probably also have a survival key ring, survival wallet, survival pen....

If that's all you have with you, you're not in good shape. The point is, it should definately not be labeled as a survival knife.
