Had a customer send me this bar of damascus and wanted survival knives made. The handle colors are his request. Blades are .220 and 5 1/4 long. Thought you guys would like to see them.

hey Mark,

I don't like Damascus, but that first knife is a beauty! Well done!

Does it have a model name?

Doc

Excellent work Mark. I don't think damascus would be my choice in a survival knife, but those are both very nice.

The redeeming thing about this damascus is that it has a 5160 core, a traditional camp knife steel. Doc, I really don't have a model name for this. I built it to my customers specs....

I know the bottom handle is the " Mark is not going to make this handle again for a while" model! LOL I had never worked Blue Jean micarta before. After shaping you have to drown it in super glue and sand over and over to get the colors to come back...

That denim micarta is stunning along with the damascuss, beautiful work all around
Thanks for showing us them beauties

Dang! I got to go see if I have a bar of damascus in the junk drawer.
Those look mighty fine.
