I didn't realize the RAT forum was so W&SS oriented. I'll be spending time there now too!

Pretty nice shelters. Learned alot just by reading through everybodys post. I have to applaud the guys that actually dedicated the time to sleep in the homemade shelter as well as prove that it held in heat through the night. They won my vote!

wow great shelter guys. ya got my vote. good job on provin the temp, nice touch.

thanks guys. ya it held the temp very nice actually. it trully was a great learning expeirence and a fun bonding time with my buddy. we wanted to make it challenging, so; we went out when it was 20 degrees, we went out with only an hour of light left, we brought no other form of shelter, and we only brought limited tools. The whole shelter was built using only my becker bk9, and my wyoming backpack saw.
