hour 14... no internet, must survive...

oh, huge snow storm, second this week, lost power 14 hours ago, they say up to a week to get it back. course, that could mean an hour ;) there's no major lines near me down, so who knows. storm is very much ober though, bright and sunny and this extremely wet heavy snow should be gone soon - 46 dF and rising.

a lot of trees down, but most of the big stuff already taken care of. there might be a chance for me to hack some stuff, but really, the grounds guys have chainsaws and teamwork.

apparently my local to home cell tower is down, and even downtown 3G/edge is spotty, right now stealing wifi with my bladite-pad in my bladite-mobile and charging my phone. got gas, got coffee, got power drinks, expect i'll cook some elk on the grill today :)

even got my keepon at toysrus (youtube it). sweet. ironically, it runs on batteries.

maybe i'll go look for some wood, but i'm far more likely to use an axe. reading a book sounds better :) some on gurkas i think.

actually it's been great here. Late summer though. Last year it snowed for the trick or treat kids so bad we didn't see anyone.

Me and the shorts I'm wearing while I type this out by the pool wish you luck!

hey, it's back.

the power, how i missed you.

now i suppose i can remove the snow filled buckets from the ice box :)

nope, don't have a wood stove now...

but $900 gets me a genny good enough to run my fridge, and my camping stuff is good to extended 0 to -20 probably, for a long time. sucks for the plumbing, but i won't die.

the problem is having temps in the 40s to 60s without power. can't keep meat frozen. loss is silly. i like me my elk and bison.

however, in the zombie apocalypse, i'll dine well, kill 1000s if nots tens of 1000s or even millions of 1000s of zombie. it's a lifestyle :)

Yeah Nursing homes are good like that.
