Ok well I would need to have some help coordinating but I was thinking next fall have a beckerhead survival weekend at land between the lakes at tn/kentucky border. It would be possibly start of bow season but no hunting due to other folks coming out to join us. Perhaps a 10-20 mile journey. It is beautiful lands and fun to do. Biggest threat I could think of is avoiding the hunting zones and there have been rumored to be wild hogs about. But in 8 years I have yet to see one.
7 dollars per person to get a back country camping pass for three days. And then cost of a fishing license for tn and kentucky if you want to fish as our route should take us along the lake if all works well. It would just be best to stay near water. And I was thinking a few people to cook and prep a massive meal at half way or end point. With a few more traveling between groups as emergency contact personnel in case someone gets hurt. Kind of like an onsite volunteer search and rescue.
Now we could do this for fun or if we can get sponsors make it a small competition deal with prizes and goodies depending on what we want to do and what said sponsors want to contribute. But be aware that there would then be a higher fee to enter a possible said competition to help cover some of the costs.
Spit out ideas and lets see if we cant get the ball rolling on this.
