Just received my Survive EDC4 in the mail today, and have to say this knife is incredible... The fit and finish is second to none, and it feels like it was made for MY hand. I can't wait to get it in the woods and give the CPM 3V a good workout. I have no doubt it will pass with flying colors.

I'm curious about the warranty. I got it from a member here and it's in brand new condition, maybe cut paper and wonder if survive will still honor the warranty (doubt it will ever be needed)? Either way, this is a fantastic piece of work, and I suggest those on the fence get one and don't look back.

I was going to order one on Guys recent preorder but I decided to hold off until he did another run in ELMAX. Although that spear point run in 3V was perking my interest.
 
Very nice piece. I'm pretty sure they'll stand behind the knife regardless of how it got to your hands. Looking forward to seeing how these stand up to some real work!
 
I have the Elmax version and love it. I do wish it had a larger handle. If I could pick up liners for mine I would. I plan on giving a full review once I can spend some time in the woods.
 
You dirt bag!!! I stared reading your post and got so excited because I thought he was shipping the new ones out, then my excitement turned to utter disappointment. Hey, glad you got your hands on one though. I'm waiting for mine from the preorder. 3v camo handle, black sheath.

Any chance you could show some in hand shots??

Thanks for the pics. I can't wait to get mine. I hope he can get them out by the end of the month, but I really doubt it.
 
The handle just fits your hand and it's 4.75".
Wow. I have large hands.. yours must be XL. =]

Nice knife, I've really been looking into getting a fixed blade lately.
 
But the OP would probably like to know whose "life" is meant.
All SURVIVE! knives are warranted for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Additionally, if your knife should ever suffer significant unintentional damage, we will replace it with a comparable model for only the cost of shipping and handling.

SURVIVE! knives are designed for use as a cutting tool, built using premium materials, to provide many years of reliable service. Use of a SURVIVE! knife for any purpose other than cutting is considered abuse, which is not covered by our lifetime warranty. SURVIVE! knives, like any tool, can eventually wear out. Keep your SURVIVE! knife well maintained for best performance and optimum service life. Blade coatings and factory sheath systems are not covered by our lifetime warranty.

Knives damaged due to abuse/neglect will be handled on an individual basis and will be repaired or replaced, at our discretion, for a reasonable rate. Please contact Guy@SurviveKnives.com for all warranty, service or repair inquiries.
