Survive GSO 3.5 thread

I'm not sure it a dedicated 3.5 threat exists either. This may be my most looked forward to "someday" knife.

As far as weight goes, somewhere between the published weights of the 2.7 and 4.1, so about 5 1/2 ounces (without the sheath), 12 ounces (with the sheath) is my guess.
 
They willbe heavier than the old 3.5. The old one had a significantly skeletonized tang. So heavier than the old 3.5 and lighter than a 4.1
 
Is the secondary market the only way to come across a 1st gen 3.5? I keep missing out and would love to snag one....

Yes. They come up here on the exchange every now and then, the big auction site as well. Your best bet is to come join the facebook "Survive! (GSO) SK Knives Fans" page and hang out there. They come up now and then as well, but you can make it known you are looking for one.
