Survive GSO 4.1 Drop Loop sheath attachment?

Any suggestions or experience with what could work well as a drop loop attachment for the Survive GSO 4.1 sheath?
Lovely knife and sheath, but it rides a bit too high. I'm looking to drop it down a few inches, perhaps using a nylon molle backing. Thanks!

A loop of seatbelt webbing is the perfect stiffness and is easy to attach and adjust to the perfect ride height (ugly pic):
