I Love my Survive! knives.. I have 5 and more on order.. Our loyalty and patience is a testimony to the quality product they make.
Here is a recent conversation I had with them on the phone..

me: Hi, I would like to order a survie! knife..
Survive!: Great, just to let you know, payment is needed up front.
Me: Ok, no problem..
Survive!: Thank you. and also, delivery is taking a year.. So look for your knife to be delivered in a year.
Me: Ok, Will that be Morning or Afternoon?
Survive!: What? What difference does it make in a year??
Me: Well, the Survive! T-Shirt delivery is coming in the morning..

Many of the starter program knives are going to take a year or so to be shipped.
A long lead time was expected when the orders were placed.
 
new 7/7 and gso 12. I would get more on pre order but got to pace myself. It they stocked knives, I would probably be buying one every other week... so the lead times protect me and my wallet from myself..
 
Got a 7/7 on pre-order. I'm leaning toward putting an 8 on pre-order, too. But I think I'm going to wait a month or two on that one. It looks like it is out a ways, anyway.
