Are we allowed to post here on the sub forum if there is a GSO on the exchange? Meaning, let the subforum know that a GSO has been listed over in the exchange. Or, is that prohibited?

Too bad I can't post my GSO on the exchange and tell you about it. I keep getting an error from the server.
 
Hale watch out, some self-declared leaders of the S!K culture or people or whatever don't like "self-promotion" unless they themselves do it. Only promotion of others is acceptable. So I'll post it for you. Just let me know when its up.

Your analysis is incorrect...
#1 There are no leaders. Just people who have been around a little longer. We are all equal, until someone is made a moderator.
#2 I do believe it is against forum rules for a person to list something for sale in the exchange and then go into other subforums and post that they listed it. So if it happens to be that I see an S!K for sale on fleabay, facebook or the exchange and I am not the one posting it, but merely provide a headsup, with no link then I am not in violation. I wish we had our own sales subforum.
 
My apologies Riz. My statement was intended to help Hale avoid the practical aspect of that thread vs the rules, while introducing a little sarcasm over comments made in that thread that could avoid a conflict.
 
A similar question. Is it possible to ask if there would possibly be any potential sales of GSO knives here by an individual who wishes to sell one, without getting "in trouble"? For instance, if an individual wished to purchase a particular model such as the 5.1 or even a "second", but cannot seem to hit the manufacturers site or marketplace at the right time to get one.

If that question would be considered an infraction, then I would not post a thread doing so. This is sincerely not meant to upset the system or anybody personally.
 
cutchu, I don't know specifically, but I'm pretty sure the loophole is putting what you're looking for in your signature.

Someone jump in and tell me if I'm wrong!

Hey Cutchu, i think Silver is right, and since you've made it known you want one, hopefully someone who's wanting to move one along will see and contact you. You can also post in the WTB section if you haven't already. Some people will work out proxy situations also, if you trust someone and they trust you of course.

Agree. WTB in sig line and a post in the WTB subforum covers it pretty well.
