I just finished up testing my GSO 5, Strider model cmfk and bark river bravo 1.5 in cpm 3v. I gave all 3 a good abuse meaning I was hitting the edges with a baton. The gso 5 didn't have a visible edge damage although it lost its hair popping sharpness but can still cut paper. My strider took some very little rolls and it won't cut paper cleanly, and the bravo 1.5 had the worst damage of the 3. It had visible rolls along the edge but not that bad. I'm wondering is it the
Heat treat that affected the results? its noticeable that the cmfk and bravo had a thicker edge than the GSO. All three of them was resharpened after use.

A whole lot comes in to play besides just the heat treat. Thickness, geometry, etc

The survive! Had the thinnest geometry of the 3 and it did not take any damage.

I don't know what kind of HT is survive putting out because even with thier s90v blades I mean I batoned it through using a hammer with anvils and did a pull ups with it without damage and still was able to go back to zero. I sent Guy a picture of me abusing the heck out of it also as my proof.
