I saw Naked and Afraid on DVD in Walmart last night. I've seen Survivorman DVDs and a basic survival Ron Hood DVD. I was hoping that Alone would be on the shelf, but no luck. I've never seen Dual Survival on DVD in stores (looking for first two seasons, Dave and Cody). I don't have cable, and would like to get some of the survival shows on DVD, but from what I've seen they're just not out there. Re runs or Youtube looks like the only opportunity for me to catch these shows. Mountain Men is neat, but I loaned out the first two seasons to a friend and really have no inclination to buy any more seasons. The only guy that is interesting on that show is the guy from Montana anyway.

I use to watch Survivorman a lot but really love watching Ray Mears now. I'd like to buy his dvd's but what I have seen was on YouTube.

Yeah YouTube or maybe one of the networks website. I've been watching "jas. Townsend and son "on YouTube recently. It's a cooking show primarily but it's an 18 th century cooking show so they have some vids of how soldiers cooked in the day. I really liked the ash cake vid. Check it out if you get bored.
