"Survivor" knife?

i have a question. i believe it was on the second episode of survivor a few years back i saw one of the guys usuing a fixed blade knife to make camp and other chores. i think one of the contestants even used the knife to kill a large wild boar. someone told me the knife used was a boker magnum. does anyone know if this is correct and if so what model magnum was used?,,thanks.
