What is this blade design mainly used for? Reminds me of a drywall knife. What do owners use theirs for?

I use mine to cut things. :D

It excels in any situation where you want to pull the blade through something tip first, or where you don't want something to slip off the edge as you're cutting. Opening packages, slicing cardboard, cutting rope, etc.

It would also make a pretty mean blade for self defense, if the need arose.
 
I mostly use mine for pondering "what can I use this for?"

I normally avoid serraions but I think I would like this one fully serrated.
 
Just bought a Sus Scrofa this week and it arrived yesterday. I think its a great all around style for utility use and cutting but not such a good piercer.
