Cobalt, quit picking on Bill. Got something suspicious happening here. In the last week, have gotten two spams from WebFerret and Ferretsoft. Just since a certain person started dropping in on the H.I. forum. This person is known to be into what are euphemistically called "skinnykitties". Coincidence? I think not.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is skinnykitties, spam, webferret and ferretsoft? Is this like a hacker or something?

Teasing Jim, Cobalt, he did a long thread on his pet ferret on the Community forum. I really did get two spams as stated. They are a web search software program like hotbot. Just thought it funny that they ( the spams ) showed up just after Jim started dropping by the HI forum given the name similarity.

Very interesting. What do these search programs do? Is it like a search engine?

That's it. I think they call it a meta-crawler. Turn it on and it uses like about 8 or 9 search engines like AltaVista, Lycos, Infoseek, and gives you the results from all.

No, this has nothing to do with kukuris at all. This thread needs to be put back on track.

So -- which model would be best for decapitating California ferret confiscators? I'm thinking the Ang Khola could probably decapitate two of them at a stroke, but if you're satisfied to do them up one at a time some of the smaller models ought to do well enough and be easier to carry around with you in case you happen to run into a bureaucrat in need of decapitation. What do you think?

Rusty, multi-search engine use-not bad.

Bill, this thread involves khukuri's only if you use them to see if you can split you computer in half when it locks up on you.

Cougar- Do you really even need an Ang Khola for that since all there is, is skin cartilage and air in there.

Hey Guys,

We're ready to Rock and Roll now. We gotta double barrel of humor with Jim March and Cobalt choked full. Oh yeahh.

Webferret is one the finest programs I have ever used. I have been using it continuously for almost 2 years, and it is one of the easiest to use and most useful programs I have had the pleasure of using. It also installs and uninstalls wonderfully indicating a fine program. My only concern is a possible privacy one, perhaps Jim can clue us in as he is a pc pro. But WebFerret definitely is a winner.

Basically, it integrates with the Windows shell and Find command off the Start button.

Enter anything you are searching for from Khukuris to "Dennis the Menace finds strategic Metals" in the dialog box, it simultaneously queries many search engines and displays a list of hits in the box. Hovering your pointer over the hits displays part of the webpage without even surfing there yet. Super! If a link looks promising, just double click it and WebFerret automatically boots up your browser ,loads the link you clicked on,and takes ya there. It is my secret weapon and I highly recommend it. Oh get this.
It's free. The foremost Ambassador for carpet sharks(ferrets) has gotta have this program . If he posts a custom ferret emoticon,I'll take it as an affirmative.

WebFerret is a must have. Let me know what ya think. www.ferretsoft.com
The regular version is free and the turbocharged version costs some bucks. The free version works like a charm. Anything you ever wanted to know about khukris or knives, just enter and enjoy.

Stay safe and all the best, Phil <-----<

I don't think we're allowed to have carpet sharks here in CA, but we do have curtain climbers, tire biters and leg lifters. That was the most informative thread I've ever read about khukuris, kookries, kukrees.
