While the LB7 is one hefty knife It does not weigh 7 lb
A mere 8.0 OZ on a digital scale. I weighed a bunch and they varied little untill I got to a Taylor Almost a full oz lighter.
I gave these weights to Dale whom I think published them over on AAPK.

don't you just hate it when someone has etched their name on the knife. i think knives are like books best left alone and allowed to just be instead of barking out who owns them.

it doesn't weigh 7 pounds, but it's on my workbench awaiting a gentle refurb.
