Hi all,
I collect modern Japanese style knives and recently purchased this knife from Amazon…
Although it is supposed to be a replica from the Resident Evil franchise, I cannot find anything similar in any of my searches for movie weapons.
I liked this knife because it looked similar to James Williams Shinbu, one of my favourites.
The blade on this knife looks great and came razor sharp. The handle was not so great, but I rewrapped it and is much better now.
Does anyone have any information about this knife?

I looked it up. The blade steel is stated to be 8Cr14MoV, which is suitable for knives, but not for swords. So this is a knife, not an impact weapon. The "manufacturer" is not one that anyone here on the forums would buy from. They appear to make fantasy knives and swords. So how close it is to any actual design is open to question. But if you like it, cool.

Nope. There are many popular foreign designs and manufacturers from Europe, China, Taiwan, Africa. This manufacturer just doesn't happen to be one of them.
