Hi I brought a new svord army golock machete.great design but the blade had indentations in it that look like pitting.it look like it been forged poorly.anyway I spoke to svord and they said that is is normal because the blades are made from old files.not what I as expecting from a new blade.has anyone else had any issues with these blades.these are reasonably priced blades and I thought a quality company.any thoughts

I owned a Von Tempsky bowie that was like that along the spine. I don't know if it was pitting or not but looked like it.

It was a well-built knife, but the fit and finish was a bit crude and unpolished.

got a machete from them, but not that one. works fine. have a handful of their knives. not pretty, and rough finished, but work as tools and perform fine.

That's just what you are getting if you buy Svord, Think of it this way, a dirty 4x4 is far more useful then a clean one. It takes away any mental reservation and opens it up for heavy use.
